  1. What is file sharing?
File sharing is the “sharing and transmitting of computer data” through a network or the internet. Data is shared and transmitted from computer to computer so multiple users can access it (King, 2007).
  1. What is P2P File sharing?
P2P file sharing is peer-to-peer file sharing. It follows the same function as file sharing with the addition of individuals using software that searches and finds files needed on other computers/networks.
  1. What are some examples of P2P file sharing?
Some examples of P2P file sharing include Limewire (known for sharing and accessing music), BitTorrent (gained popularity for getting Tv shows/movies) and Gnutella.
